We were brought in to advise on the development of proposals for a flat within this Grade II* listed Robert Adam house. Detailed research and fabric analysis showed that most of the flat was in fact a much later extension to the original house, and retained very few significant interior features. This enabled us to negotiate with the local authority to secure a more interventionist scheme than would normally be possible within a Grade II* listed building. As a consequence the scheme successfully achieved Listed Building Consent.
