This derelict car park is located within the High Wycombe Conservation Area, and was proposed for mixed-use redevelopment taking advantage of its central location near to the train station. Our role included strategic advice to the planning consultant, and producing a Heritage Statement that analysed the site’s contribution to the character and appearance of the conservation area, and demonstrated how the proposed redevelopment would enhance the area and the settings of listed buildings nearby. This enable consent to be granted for a tradition office scheme along the main street, and a more contemporary residential development behind.
